New Residents--Come into City Hall to open your utilities account. A valid state issue ID is required. Applications can also be submitted by filling out the form below, email the completed form along with a copy of both sides of your state issued ID to [email protected].

Moving?

To avoid being billed for services you are not using. Please submit a written request to discontinue services to City Hall. Please include you account number and stop date.

Listed below, you will find the City of Roberts current utility rates and policies. If you do not find the information you are looking for, please contact our office.

City Utility Base Rates per month: Beginning October 1, 2023
  • Garbage $15.45 per can
  • Sewer $57.29
  • Water
    • Residential $40.62 plus $0.70 per 1000 gallons
    • Commercial $47.64 plus $0.70 per 1000 gallons
City Utility Base Rates per month: Beginning October 1, 2024
  • Garbage $15.45 per can
  • Sewer $85.33
  • Water
    • Residential $50.00 plus $0.80 per 1000 gallons
    • Commercial $50.00 plus $0.80 per 1000 gallons

Important Information:

  • Bills are due on the last day of the billing month.
  • Property owners are responsible for all utility bills.

Delinquent Accounts:

  • A $30.00 late fee is applied to all delinquent accounts.
  • Delinquency notices will be mailed out on or about the 11th of each month.
  • Services involuntarily discontinued for non-payment:
    • Water will be shut off
    • Garbage cans will be removed from the property.
  • Requirements for Restoration of Services after involuntary disconcontinuance for nonpayment:
    • Current and past due charges
    • Restoration service fee
    • Deposit Beginning Oct 1, 2024: water base+5000 gallons+sewer base rate+(15.45x# of garbage totes)=Deposit
Fees Schedule:
Late Fee $30.00
Restoration Fee $50.00
Deposit for Involuntary Disconnection Water & Sewer base rate+5000 gal water+number of garbage totes at the last updated utility application
Voluntary Discontinuance $50.00
